American Feng Shui

Mielle:

I have been practicing Feng Shui since 1990. At the time, I owned a metaphysical bookstore in Sebastopol, California and had the opportunity to extensively research the various Chinese schools of Feng Shui. As my practice evolved, I realized that Feng Shui needed a little updating. We, as 21st century Americans, live in a modern culture with many different needs than the people of ancient China. I began to incorporate Western design concepts into my work and discovered that it revolutionized the effectiveness of traditional Feng Shui. Consequently, I founded American Feng Shui in 2000, when my daughter Willow joined me in the business. We now practice together, and have found that we have a unique balance of energies for a dynamic and creative team.

Willow:

Living with my mother, Feng Shui was always a part of our daily lives. Over the years I watched, learned, and tagged along - assisting Mielle with her Feng Shui jobs. I have witnessed the positive results of Feng Shui, and the profound effect that it has on peoples' lives. I found that Feng Shui invoked a passion within me, and eventually, it made sense to join forces as a mother/daughter team. My other passion in life is the welfare of children. I studied early childhood development at the college level, while considering a teaching career, and I am so pleased to bring this training to our Feng Shui practice. I also have enjoyed years as a personal assistant and professional organizer, which I call "micro-feng shui", assisting busy homeowners and business owners to organize their lives. I cannot imagine a more fulfilling job than this service of transformation.
